INNOVATIVE MULTIMEDIA INSTALLATION FOR THE CONFERENCE ROOMS OF CONFINDUSTRIA TOSCANA NORD
The multimedia project for the conference rooms of Confindustria Toscana Nord responds to the need to connect the 3 locations in Prato, Lucca and Pistoia with a digital and modern system and with a circular economy approach.
Objective
Cohesion
To strengthen the cohesion between the 3 locations, the client expressed the need to connect the conference rooms between them.
Integration
TT Tecnosistemi proposed an approach of complete integration with the existing, without excessive distortion of the current infrastructure, but with the replacement of key elements that allow a better use by the user and better management by the IT staff of Confindustria Toscana Nord, as well as speakers and lecturers.
Modernisation
The main objective of this project is to modernise the entire video conferencing system by incorporating or making compatible the latest technology.

As for the Audio part, we have sought the complete integration with the current system, through the inclusion of a controllable Digital Mixer. Regarding the Video part, the objective was to use the latest technology of distribution of the signal between sources and display elements: the Audio Video Over IP (AVoIP). The installation is completed by a streaming system to allow easy connection with the other rooms of the association, dissemination and publication of live content in the most common live broadcast channels.
Simple to use
The proposal was born with a particular attention to the usability of technologies, regardless of the presence of IT personnel for support, presence that in the desired should be limited to the most specific and complex operations, in order to preserve the staff to be dedicated to such activities. The use of the halls can be automated to the maximum in routine activities so that the turning on and off of the equipment - as well as the operations considered standard - can be carried out by the staff who will use the halls through the only Touch of special icons on management keyboards (with pre-configured usage scenarios).

In a circular economy perspective, TT Tecnosistemi identified the elements to be replaced and those that were still functional, valid and compatible with the new technology implemented. The added value of this project is the modernization of a conference room system through the use of existing elements. The goal was to make the most of all the components of the working plant by replacing only those necessary. For example, as regards the display surfaces present, on the client’s request, the option has been adopted to try at the moment to reuse the two monitors on a stand, currently present on the right and left of the speakers' table.
