GROW YOUR BUSINESS WITH EFFECTIVE NETWORK PERFORMANCE
Implementation of cable and wireless network infrastructures
Simplified management even in the case of complex realities and infrastructures. This is the main strength of the active equipment that TT Tecnosistemi uses for the construction of cable or wireless network infrastructures. Wireless: it is the implementation of secure and reliable connections with centralized management of all access points. The devices proposed by TT Tecnosistemi allow to define multiple wireless networks in order to guarantee the complete separation of traffic generated by different types of users (business, guests, VoIP phones, etc.) and manage access points located in remote networks from the access controller.
Cable: this type of connection allows you to keep under control the status and activity of your network by using devices equipped with complete management and to realize a network structure redundant.
Network access control
With our network infrastructure solutions, you can enable a switch feature that allows you to control physical access to the local network and automatically assign the correct area of membership based on the type of user you connect. The service is useful to avoid leaving network sockets in common areas (typically meeting rooms) with little staff, with the risk that from this one you can access local network resources.
Vulnerability analysis
Detailed vulnerability analysis is a key tool to verify the level of protection of both local area network and published services. For the local network, a full scan is performed on all hosts present, while for possible unwanted access from the Internet, the system scans public IP addresses. At the end of these activities, a report is issued with an indication of the general health status of the systems and recommendations to solve any identified vulnerabilities.
THE VARIOUS FUNCTIONALITIES OF ACCESS POINTS
INSTANT MODE
- One of the APs in the network automatically chooses a virtual controller for all the other APs, this device then distributes the configuration to other Instant APs on the network and from its web interface you can manage all the other APs and check the wireless signal status throughout the area covered by the access points.
- The Instant network is extremely reliable because in case of failure of the AP that also performs the tasks of virtual controller, automatically pass the functionality to one of the other APs without the need for manual interventions.
- Within an Instant network, different access point models can be present.
GESTIONE RADIO ADATTATIVA (ARM)
ARM is a radio frequency management technology that optimizes WLAN performance, even in high-traffic networks. IAPs support the following ARM functionalities:
- Channel or Power Assignment - Assign the channel and power settings to all IAPs in the network based on changes in the RF environment.
- Voice Aware Scanning - Improves voice quality by preventing an IAP from scanning other channels in the RF spectrum during a voice call and allowing an IAP to resume scanning when there are no active voice calls.
- Load Aware Scanning - Dynamically adjusts scanning behavior to maintain uninterrupted data transfer on resource-intensive systems when network traffic exceeds a predefined threshold.
- Band Steering - Assign clients equipped with dual-band wireless cards (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) to the 5 GHz band, thus reducing co-channel interference and increasing the available bandwidth for this type of client.
- Client Match - Continuously monitor the client’s RF environment to support band steering, channel load balancing and enhanced IAP reallocation for roaming mobile clients. When Client Match is enabled on IAP 802.11n, the Client Match feature overrides all settings configured for legacy band steering, manual station assist or load balancing functions. 802.11ac-enabled IAP do not support legacy band steering, station shutdown or load balancing settings; therefore, these IAP must be managed using Client Match.
- Airtime Fairness - Provides equal access to all customers on wireless support, regardless of client type, capability or operating system to provide consistent performance to all clients..
CLIENT MATCH
ClientMatch continuously monitors the RF environment for each client so as to provide continuous client management and load balancing, and better AP reassignment for roaming mobile clients. ClientMatch manages the following client or AP mismatch conditions:
- Load balancing: ClientMatch balances clients between APs on different channels, based on the client’s load on the APs and the SNR levels that the client detects from an underutilized AP. If an AP radio can support other clients, the AP will participate in ClientMatch load balancing and clients can be routed to that AP radio, based on default SNR thresholds.
- Sticky Clients: ClientMatch also helps mobile customers who tend to remain associated with an AP despite low signal levels. APs using ClientMatch continuously monitor the client’s RSSI as it roams from one AP to another and move the client to an AP when a better radio match is found. This prevents mobile clients from remaining associated with APs with an unideal RSSI, which can cause poor connectivity and reduce performance for other clients associated with that AP.
- Band Steering/Band Balancing: APs, using the ClientMatch feature, monitor the RSSI for clients that use dual-band capability. If a client is currently paired with a 2.4 GHz radio and the AP detects that the client has a good 5 GHz radio RSSI, the managed device attempts to route the client to the 5 GHz radio, provided the 5 GHz RSSI is not significantly worse than the 2 GHz RSSI,4 GHz; the PA maintains an adequate distribution of customers on each of its radios.
- HE Steering: 802.11ax clients are compatible with 802.11ax radios, resulting in improved productivity and efficiency at the RF spectrum level. When an 802.11ax client is paired with a lower radio, ClientMatch pushes the client to the 802.11ax-compatible radio so that it can take advantage of advanced features; even when the communication from the client with the lower radio is good.
Application visibility and control:
- Using "AppRF" technology, the access point performs a thorough inspection of packets transmitted by wireless clients. This allows you to classify, block, prioritize or limit bandwidth for more than 3,000 applications. Settings can be set for individual applications or groups.
Security:
- Through "Integrated Wireless Intrusion Protection" technology, the wireless infrastructure provides protection and mitigation against threats without the need to use separate RF sensors and security devices.
- Attraverso la tecnologia "IP Reputation and Security" è possibile identificare, classificare e bloccare file dannosi, URL e IP. Fornisce una protezione completa contro le minacce online avanzate.
Quality of service for VoIP traffic:
- It supports priority management and policy definition to ensure maximum efficiency of voice traffic, both that generated by specific devices (VoIP phones) and that generated by unified communication apps (such as Microsoft Skype for Business, etc.).
WHEN TO CHOOSE SD-WAN TECHNOLOGY?
Software Defined WAN (SD-WAN) allows the CREATION OF HYBRID NETWORKS integrating multiple access technologies (Internet, MPLS, LTE and dynamic routing). This allows you to MAKE AVAILABLE IN REAL TIME the first usable connection, based on performance or other programmable criteria and REDUCING TOTAL BANDWIDTH COSTS.
- MORE CONNECTED SUB-LOCATIONS
- INTERNATIONAL BRANCH
- REDUCE THE COST of Geographic Links (WAN)
- INCREASE AVAILABLE BANDWIDTH
- REPLACE MPLS LINES WITH INTERNET LINES, ensuring high quality of service
- QoS sensitive applications
The availability of SD-WAN systems in VM version is very useful to connect in this mode services published in the cloud (both private and public). This significantly increases the security for this type of service.
